WASORIA

Who are we?

Wasoria is a French industrial start-up founded in 2020 and based at the Hub&Go technopole in Le Creusot. We design and integrate our own technologies (sensors, artificial intelligence and applications) to make sorting centers safer, more efficient and better places to work for their operators.

The team brings together about ten people: vision and AI engineers, researchers and a PhD candidate, alongside software, product, sales and communication staff. It works with the CIAD and ImViA laboratories, and with our clients to anticipate their needs.

Wasoria was founded by Franck Lafontaine, an ECAM engineer who worked in aeronautics before spending fifteen years in waste sorting. In 2025 the company won the Fundtruck (Le Creusot stage), French Tech BFC20 (Transition Impact category) and Innov'BFC awards.
