3. Recipients

Your data is only accessible to the Wasoria staff in charge of handling your request or application. It is never sold or rented. It is also processed on our behalf by:

  • our hosting provider, OVH SAS (France), for the site and its data;
  • our email service provider, to deliver the messages sent through the forms;
  • Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, for audience measurement, only if you have accepted it.

Third-party content: the map on the Contact page is loaded from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive your IP address when it is displayed. Some articles embed videos hosted by YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) or Vimeo: when the page containing them is displayed, these platforms may receive your IP address and set their own trackers, under their own privacy policies.

4. Transfers outside the European Union

Audience measurement data may be transferred to the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognized by the European Commission on July 10, 2023 as providing an adequate level of protection. Standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission supplement this safeguard.

5. Cookies and trackers

Trackers that are strictly necessary for the site to work are set without consent. Audience measurement cookies are only set if you accept them.

Name Purpose Duration
wasoria-session Session cookie, needed for the site and its forms to work 2 hours
XSRF-TOKEN Protects forms against forged submissions 2 hours
cookie-consent Remembers your cookie choice (browser local storage) 6 months
_ga, _ga_<ID> Google Analytics audience measurement, only with your consent 13 months

You can accept or refuse audience measurement cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, then change your choice at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing your consent stops audience measurement and deletes the Google Analytics cookies. Your choice is kept for 6 months, after which you are asked again. Refusing cookies does not prevent you from using the site.

6. Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • Encrypted connections between your browser and the site (HTTPS)
  • CVs stored in a space that cannot be accessed from the internet
  • Access to data restricted to the people who need it

7. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights over your data:

  • Right of access, rectification and erasure
  • Right to object, in particular to direct marketing, and right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to withdraw your consent at any time, in particular for cookies
  • Right to set guidelines for what happens to your data after your death

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@wasoria.fr. We will reply within one month. We may ask you to prove your identity if we have reasonable doubts.

8. Right to lodge a complaint

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France), or online: www.cnil.fr/fr/plaintes.
